Force Restart

This is the first troubleshooting step for most performance issues. The below steps need to be done quickly or the iPad won't restart.

1. Press & release the top volume button, then and then press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds until the screen turns off. Don't slide the power menu slider when that opens, just keep holding the power button.

2. Press & release the bottom volume button

3. Hold the power button for about 15 seconds until the screen turns off. Don't slide the power menu slider when that opens, just keep holding the power button. The Apple logo will appear when it's turning back on.
