Before your iPad is received in August, you can access your school email from any device/browser at https://mail.google.com
If you're already signed in to a Google account, click your profile in the upper right corner, select 'Add account' and enter the login information found on the initial login sheet distributed in MySJ.
Otherwise you should see the below page when going to https://mail.google.com for the first time:
