Formative & Lockdown Browser

When doing some Formative assignments, your iPad is required to be locked down in to the Formative app.

When you start the assignment, you should be prompted to allow the app to enable Self-Lock, which you need to tap Yes on. If you accidentally tap no or the prompt doesn't open, you'll need to restart your iPad.

If you finish the assignment, and are stuck in the Formative app unable to close it, you'll also need to force restart your iPad.

Here's how to force restart your iPad:

Press & release the top volume button, then press & release the bottom volume button, and then press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds until the screen turns off. Don't slide the power menu slider when that opens, just keep holding the power button.
